First day of Summer. ☀️🌎 You #hotandbothered yet?
What would a carbon-neutral gallery look like?? How would that be possible? 🤔
This is the first of a few upcoming events related to climate change 🌎 🌱 that Science Gallery Atlanta (@scigalleryatl) will be hosting over the next couple of months, and I’m excited that this one will leverage the concepts of Design Thinking to foster conversations/ideas/solutions that relate to Atlanta.
Congrats to @kayashoots on the grand opening of “Late Bloomer”…her new solo show at @mintatl. This is just a sneak peek. Go see it for yourself if you’re in the Atlanta area. 🌸🌱
A great conversation is like a great jazz jam session or watching great futbol/basketball passing lead to a score. Lois Reitzes, Hannah Redler Hawes and I had an amazing conversation about the new HOOKED exhibition at Science Gallery Atlanta (@scigalleryatl) . Listen to this chat, then go get your (FREE) tickets.
Did you know that social media is designed to keep us engaged? How easy is it for you to unplug? “Self-Love Scroll” is a workshop that will explore how being more connected to our bodies might help us think differently about our relationship with social media.
ATL -> NYC. I saw Trouble perform for the first time at Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) PS1 in 2017. At that moment it felt so good to see an Atlanta artist being recognized so far from home, and in a place that recognizes the most thought-provoking modern and contemporary art.
From its cultural heritage around the world to the nuances of the chemistry behind that perfect cup, coffee ☕️ is a beverage that sparks my curiosity and my taste palette over and over again. It’s the perfect brew 😉 of art and science, and it’s a huge International business.
I found a secret peach tree in Atlanta. I think by GA law I am required to make peach cobbler. DM any good recipes. (I have no idea what I’m doing in the kitchen. 🙃😂)
