I’ve always been interested in the history of many things: automobiles, sports, computers, etc. However, the fashion industry is one arena in which I can admit to having a fairly limited vocabulary. I know what I like, but not necessarily why I like it, and usually without much knowledge of how it came to be. So with that in mind, I must say I was particularly excited to start a series of conversations with fashion stylist and writer Christan O’Brien that will be featured on The G Cafe , dubbed “Fashion Foreword”, in which we take a look at some notable fashion brands and personalities and discuss their impact on popular culture.
In one of these recent dialogues, we focus on Kim Kardashian, Grace Jones, and photographer Jean-Paul Goude.
