What do you get when a few college friends use their love of sports to keep in touch, dissect the world, and bring some of their best debates to the public? You get the Section 357 Show, otherwise known as the “Ball Street Journal”, a contemporary global sports podcast, incorporating business, marketing, and PR with a hip-hop flair. We discuss the most important issues that affect the business and marketing of the world’s most popular sports, teams, and athletes.
I’ve learned so much about producing this show, from the technical side of bringing more than 300 episodes to life, to the relationship building that’s involved with growing an audience, getting awesome guests to join the show, and balancing the schedules of four hosts in three different time zones. The term “labor of love” is an understatement when it comes to the effort and energy that goes into this show, but the valuable knowledge and awesome moments I’ve shared along the way make it all worthwhile.
