In his role as Executive Director of Atlanta Contemporary, Floyd directed turnaround efforts and development initiatives to ensure the continued accessibility of contemporary art through the institution’s longstanding free admission policy. He has designed and implemented multi-year fundraising campaigns, cultivated key donor relationships, and expanded institutional partnerships. His work emphasizes balancing ambitious revenue goals with mission-driven programming, securing the resources necessary for operational stability and program expansion.
Program Development & Curation
At Science Gallery Atlanta, Floyd served as Curator, Creative Producer, and Interim Director during its startup phase, and led efforts to create public exhibitions at the intersection of art and science. These programs engaged audiences across disciplines, encouraging dialogue around complex topics through immersive, participatory experiences.
